[MONSA]

// who built this

I built Monsa for my own book.

I have invested my own money since 2017 and run it against written rules since 2019. I look at the market every day. Monsa started as my spreadsheet.

Why it exists

I had my rules in a sheet: what I would buy, what I would not, at what price. The rules were fine. I just stopped checking them. Going through a dozen positions against a list of thresholds is boring, it is never urgent, and it slipped for months at a time. Things stayed in the book long after they had stopped qualifying.

I had hit the same wall on the private side. Point FM outgrew Excel, the enterprise tools cost more than they were worth and did the wrong job, so I built Misano. Monsa is the same fix aimed at public markets.

How I invest

Most of the book runs on the written rules. A slice does not. I hold some things for reasons a threshold cannot capture, and I would rather say that than pretend the rules cover everything. Nu Holdings I have held for years. Biotech names I have held for weeks. Only one of those two reasons survives being written down as criteria.

That is why Monsa runs several portfolios side by side, each with its own rules or with none. I am not trying to get rid of the speculative slice. I want to know which positions are in it.

What solo costs you

I build it, I answer the email, I wrote the code. There is no support rota and no second line: if I am asleep, you wait. Nothing here gets built to hit a quarterly number either, and the roadmap is whatever I actually ship. The changelog has dates on it, so you can check rather than take my word for it.

I pay for my own account and took my operator number in the order I earned it. The nightly scoring runs against my book too. If Monsa gets something wrong, tell me.
